Famitsu has released information from a new Japanese webinar hosted by Koichi Hamamura, Senior Digital Entertainment Advisor at KADOKAWA, titled The Current Status and Outlook of the Game Industry in Spring 2023 – The Game Industry Towards Season 2. The event naturally talked about the big console makers and revealed that Nintendo has a number of “promising games” from third parties that should be released later this year. It should be noted
“In addition to Nintendo, a third party is planning to release a number of promising titles. Another advantage of the Nintendo Switch is that not only new titles, but older titles are still selling well. The reason for this is that even after release, additional DLC and expansion passes are distributed regularly and are always promoted in the same way as new titles.”
