Readers of Japan’s most respected gaming magazine voted from June 5 to June 11 to determine which games wowed everyone and which failed to intrigue. Expect the order in the next release to see if the new Mario and Zelda games revealed at the Direct can usurp Monster Hunter, or if they’ll have to keep their heads down until the next opportunity to claim the throne. Also, given the popularity of series like Dragon Quest and Hello Kitty in Japan, both of which were part of the Direct, some of these other games on the list may want to bask in the glory while they can.
