Today we get some interesting details about this game. After comparisons with the Super Mario Bros series, as well as the explicit content that we were able to learn, it was confirmed that it will be released October 31, 2024 for $24.99 / £19.99 / $24.99.
After the download size was revealed, we now know the following details thanks to a recent interview with Suda51 Eurogamer
- Visual improvements: The remaster features improved, eye-catching graphics.
- New costumes: New costumes have been added for Garcia, the main character, including “Demon Garcia,” which enhances the character.
- Inspiration: Demon Garcia’s suit is inspired by Mikami’s Hand of God mechanic, where enemies are empowered as they advance.
- New Game Plus: A New Game Plus option is included, allowing you to restart the game with all of your acquired power-ups and weapons.
- Review of discarded features: The remastering allowed for the addition of elements that were discarded in the original version due to lack of time, although no further details have been confirmed for now.
