Back in 2022, it was announced that the Mortal Kombat reboot would get a sequel. Now, in an update, the film’s producer Todd Garner and actor Lewis Tan have officially confirmed that filming has wrapped.
Tan shared some social media posts about yourself at a gala party and Garner shared a short video message mentioning how it’s been an “amazing journey,” but also warning fans not to expect a trailer anytime soon:
In addition to the existing cast, some more characters and actors will be introduced in the sequel. This includes spoiler alert…Johnny Cage, who will starring (Boys star) Karl Urban. He will also be joined by Martyn Ford as Shao Khan, Adeline Rudolph as Princess Kitana and Damon Herriman as Quan Chi.
If there are any significant updates like an announcement or a release date, we’ll let you know.
