The renowned developer SEGA has shared on its official website the first details about G-LOC Air Battle, the next installment of this retro collection that will be launched very soon in the eShop of Nintendo Switch in Japan for 999 ¥.
We leave you with the details of the game (courtesy of Gematsu) then:
Arcade Mode
The "Arcade Mode" allows you to enjoy the game in its original form. Select one of the three difficulties at the beginning of the game, and different stages will be developed for each one. It is played in the first person perspective from the cabin, but when the enemy is behind you, the perspective changes to third person. Try to complete the mission using the accelerators while avoiding enemy attacks.
Ages mode
In addition to the Arcade Mode, which faithfully reproduces the original recreational version, an "Ages Mode" has been added that allows players to more comfortably enjoy new missions. The enemy search range of your weapons is greater, while the blocking cursor also accelerates. Take down large groups of enemies and enjoy the exciting gameplay.
Mobile cabin
The replica of the moving cabinet popularized in Sega 3D Fukkatsu Project for 3DS finally returns! The “Deluxe Type” screen that moves from left to right, and that was played in a mobile seat, has been reproduced as much as possible on Switch. Of course, you can also select from other types of screen, such as the cabin without movement or the usual point-by-point and vintage screens.
Online Claims
Like other Sega Ages titles, Sega Ages G-LOC Air Battle also implements online rankings, which allow you to enjoy the repetitions of expert players. Online rankings fall into five categories: the three difficulties of Arcade mode, Ages mode and freestyle. In addition, settings such as HD Rumble, which adds intensity to the game, and "Auto Vulcan", which reduces the operating buttons, can be activated or deactivated in the settings screen.
