Although Flipnote Studio is a thing of the past, its fans are still very present. The Nintendo service, which was born as a downloadable application for the Nintendo DSi that was later transferred to the Nintendo 3DS, gave rise to millions of drawings that at first seemed to be lost forever. However, this will ultimately not be the case.
Sudomemo (Austin Burk) and the Flipnote Studio community have created the Flipnote Archive, a page that honors the application’s legacy by preserving all of its works (44 million animations from over 1.2 million users) in a database that it weighs more than 12 TB (a real outrage).
You can access the Flipnote Archive below and take a look for yourself.
What do you think? Do you recognize any drawing of the collected ones? Do not hesitate to leave it in the comments.
