Fortnite still seems to be doing well despite the market being flooded with free-to-play Battle Pass games like Overwatch 2, Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends and more. Details on Fortnite Chapter 4: Season 2 have begun to leak and it looks like it will be heavily influenced by the Land of the Rising Sun as it is said to feature “futuristic-Neo Tokyo” themed environments. Season 2 will be called Mega and features all kinds of futuristic weapons and vehicles for you to try out. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 will also reportedly feature the highly anticipated first-person mode. Here is what is known so far about the new season:
- This season will be called Mega
- Futuristic-Neo Tokyo-Japanese Theme
- Lucky Landing v2 POI & Neo-Tokyo POI
- Items for katanas/swords
- Futuristic motorcycles
- New weapons (including pistol and shotgun)
- Glowing pipes that you slide on as mobility while holding your weapon
- The Pump Shotgun will return
- Legendary enhancements that respawn you when you die, increase your max shield, or give you a siphon
- First-person mode
