It is easy to get caught in a mass success stories we hear these days around Nintendo Switch, with major releases and indie games alike seeming to struggle for the popularity of the platform. Not always.
Matt Rix for the Canadian Milkbag Games studio has taken over Reddit to discuss the sale of its wonderful Stunt-racer FutureGrind. Sadly, he notes that the game "sold poorly", so the developer decided to set the price of the game at the right time for their first year.
"I'm very proud of our future gameGrind, but it sold poorly, so we thought we weren't going to make a lot of money, we had better have more people to play."
The game performed better on the Switch than other platforms – Matt said the Switch was "the best-selling" type – but its overall sales were "very small compared to most games".
