@ rdm22 I mean, Sticker Star and Flash Splash were based on turns. That in itself magic does not. I've been thinking about this a lot today, for obvious reasons, a little while I was there there is the lack of equipment take these two collaborators (and possibly the third new one) to be exactly what I want in Paper Sheet, it's just another damn thing.
It would take a lot of time to do all the placement here, and there's no time to read all that, but I'll provide a very short and not-so-all version of ya.
The good Paper Games Mario uses "paper" as a reference to how they feel as a fantastical storybook adventure. They are full of places with unusual, vibrant, foreign and interesting characters. Characters, even if they are of the usual type in Mario games, something different, and they all have their own personalities, motives, and virtues. The scope, scale, impact, and "weight" of the story itself are not as important you feel it's like you're playing a JRPG Mario Fairy Tale adventure; finding a magic box in an empty house in a town that destroys you and takes you to a toy world full of shy people, enters through a magical gate to a flower garden where you have to unwind, attack the dragon castle with its treasures, you have to go to a creepy tower in a perpetual town where one always turns a pig when the ringing of a bell. This is why, while I think I will not want everything that has happened after it play like Super Paper Mario, I thought Super Paper Mario would be a great addition to this Franchise.
It then fits in with the meme image of 50 identical Sticker Star / Splash characters and a number of unique and unique TTYD toad designs.
