Ahead of the return of GameCube hit Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo is taken to social networks introduce a cast of characters to a new generation of players.
If you haven’t played the game before or just need a refresher – this reveals the characters that will join Mario on his adventure to save the princess. Note that there are also many more friendly (and not so friendly) faces.
Here are the six characters Nintendo highlighted in their last post (note: if you haven’t played The Thousand-Year Door before and don’t want to spoil the surprise, you might want to go back to the homepage).

When Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door launches May 23, 2024the Switch edition will feature “refreshed graphics” along with some updated features – including a package of additional changes that will apparently make the game “easier than ever to enjoy.”
