Prestigious US video game publication Game Informer announced today that they are closing for good, which will be a blow to the talented journalists who work there along with fans of the magazine and the insightful Game Informer website and podcast. Kotaku reports that the entire staff was brought into a meeting with parent company GameStop’s vice president of human resources on Friday and told that the publication was being shut down immediately and that everyone was being fired.
