Physical edition of Gerda: A Flame in Winter
February, 1945. The war is almost over, but your fight is about to begin. Play as Gerda Larsen, a young nurse caught between her community and her desperate mission to save her husband, Anders. However, many other lives will be affected by your decisions.
Gerda’s journey will entail many moral dilemmas, difficult conversations and delicate situations. The world is dangerous and you will have to help her adapt to it with your decisions, which will always have short and long-term consequences.
If you give valuable resources to someone who needs them now, will you regret it later? Will there be consequences if you, as a nurse, help someone who is suffering even though you know that person might cause others to suffer later?
A S tory-Driven RPG-lite – Make the most of what you have: your personality points, your loyalties, and your resources. Your relationship with the people and factions will determine how your story unfolds. Level up Gerda’s mental abilities by reflecting on her experiences in her journal to gain personality skill points. Use these abilities during events and conversations to unlock special actions, gain the trust of others, or avoid being suspected.
Create Your Own Story – You can choose where and when to explore, but do so wisely as people move and events can be weather dependent. As you investigate and progress, your decisions will lead you down different narrative paths. Will you do whatever it takes to save Anders or will you cling fiercely to your morals? Your actions will lead you to several poignant conclusions and change the fate of your community in Gerda: A Flame in Winter.
Gerda: A Flame in Winter will be released in a special physical edition for Nintendo Switch this fall.
