In case you missed it, Bandai Namco announced Gundam Breaker 4 for Switch and other platforms during Nintendo’s Partner Showcase this week.
In one moment it reaches the whole world in 2024 and will allow you to create your own “ultimate” Gundam and then deploy it in various combat missions, where you defeat enemies, obtain their parts and then equip new skills to create all kinds of customizations.
“Mix and match parts from over 250 base kits to personalize your Gunpla with the largest variety of mobile suits and parts of any Gundam Breaker game to this day. Plus, you can collect, pose and display your creations in Diorama mode.”
Before the game’s release, Bandai Namco also revealed that it would launch closed network testing in Japan for all platforms on March 15 and March 17. This test will include a “visual lobby” for up to 24 players, an online multiplayer mode for three units (including three missions and three difficulties), and the ability to customize 20 different units.
The “Gundam Breaker News Station” special aired in Japan earlier today also showed over 25 minutes of the title. You can see it in action between 42:32 and 1:09:20 in the video below (thanks, Gematsu).
