The Japanese developer SEGA has shared a series of new and interesting details about the modes and different configuration options that will be available in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix, which will arrive on Nintendo Switch throughout this year in the West and on February 13 in Japan.

We leave you with the details below (courtesy of Gematsu):

Practice

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix has a "Practice" function that allows you to practice parts of the rhythm game. By selecting "Start Practice" in the song selector, you can repeatedly play any part of the rhythm scenes. By using this function, you can master the parts of a song that you are not good at.

Practice options

In "Set start time", you can freely set the point of the song where you want to start the practice. You can also set the starting point of the song during the game, as well as restart with the press of a button.

Gallery

In the "Gallery", you can check the results, such as your scores and the completion rate, as well as the staff credits.

Logs

Check the scores, the completion rate and more in your «Results» and «Statistics».

  • Best personal brands: show your best score per song.
  • Completed song statistics: show your scores, average completion percentages by difficulty and game modification information.
  • Information: see the difficulties of the song, the playing time, the modules and more.

Tutorial

The main "Tutorial" feature of the series returns to Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix. Learn at any time how to play with the unique “slide and hold” controls of the “Arcade Mode”, as well as the basic controls of the new “Mix Mode”.

Button Settings

You can freely change the settings of the buttons used for melodies and slide icons that appear in Arcade mode. You can even configure the same icon for several buttons. In addition, the simultaneous pressure (two, three or four pressures) of the melody icon can be set to one button each (for example, pressing ZL can be set to be equivalent to pressing the four arrow buttons). This is useful for those who are not good at pressing buttons simultaneously.

For Mix Mode you can turn on and off a support option that allows you to earn points even when pressing buttons, in addition to adjusting options such as the way the combos are displayed.
