The development team at Headcannon has announced that they are involved in Sonic Origins Plus, which will reassure Sonic the Hedgehog fans of the quality of the collection. The team at Headcannon helped SEGA bring the adorable Amy Rose and Knuckles as playable characters to the compilation, as well as polish the visuals of the collection. Headcannon also said that they have “added several additional updates and improvements to make the title the best it can be” and that they “can’t wait for you to experience it!” Sonic Origins Plus launches on Nintendo Switch on Friday, June 23rd as the complete collection or as a low-cost add-on for owners of the original Sonic Origins game.
