Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony usually have some kind of presentation around this time of year. Sony held its PlayStation Showcase last month, and Microsoft will hold its presentation on Sunday. Nintendo, however, has been very tight-lipped about its annual summer presentation, including whether it will have a Direct at all.
Well, maybe we’re starting to see why. Jeff Grubb recently appeared on an episode of the Giant Bombcast. There he revealed that he had heard “early announcements” of some kind of Direct. Whether it will be Mini, Partner or general Direct, he does not know. Regardless of what the Direct is, Grubb says he’s heard the Direct will take place in July.
