Nintendo used to give us details about Version 1.1.0 for Crossing the Animals: New Horizons

a whole week now. While we know a lot about the new update, the official write up on the backing page reveals a few more details.

Ver. 1.1 (released March 20, 2020)

Features of Internet connection
- It is now possible to visit other islands by playing online with the Internet.
- Additional features related to NookLink, Nintendo's app Change Online Internet.
- Added functionality for Best Friends.
- Message cards can now be sent to friends or received by friends.
General rehabilitation
- Added a seasonal event.
- Some changes have been made to improve the gaming experience.
