This week Indie World Showcase showed a few spectacular games looking to Change, and among them was Wingspan. It was only shown for the shortest time in the presentation, but now we know more.
In fact a strategy card game that can be played alone or with up to five players, and is based on a board game of the same name. You will be a bird enthusiast, actually taking on the roles of a researcher, a bird watcher, a dentist, and a collector. We have a description, feature list, and screens to share below:
Discover new bird species and attract them by providing their favorite food. But remember their natural habitat – the animals will not settle in unfamiliar conditions. Order them eggs so you can play new birds and get more points. Roll dice to collect food and draw cards to increase your share. Remember – each unique bird of 170 has the same power as in real life: your bees will hunt you, your pigs will fish, and your cats build a herd.
WINGSPAN BEST RESULTS:
– Find and attract the best birds in this relaxing card game.
– Play one player or compete with your friends in up to five multiplayer mode.
– Based on the award-winning, competitive, card-driven game.
– Discover hundreds of unique, photographed birds with original sound recordings.
– Learn more ways to collect points for birds, bonus cards, and end goals.
More refreshingly, the release date of the game will be announced "soon" – we'll make sure we look for that when the time comes.
Until then, feel free to share your thoughts on the game in the comments below. Do you like its views so far? Have you ever played a board game before?
