New series of Pokémon the anime is currently flying in Japan with its first western trailer, with the news that it will be launching in the US and UK later this year.
Known as the & # 39; Pokémon Journey & # 39; west – the show will start airing on June 12th in the US and September 1st in the UK. It will be Netflix exclusive to the US (with new episodes set to be added to the streaming service throughout the quarter of the year – thank you, Serbian), and we will be traveling by POP in the UK.
You can watch for yourself the new trailer; general favorites Ash and Pikachu are joined by new partner Go as they embark on a new journey. We see a whole bunch of old Pokémon like Lugia, Mew and Pichu, as well as new couples Pokémon Sword and Shield
It remains to be seen how much impact the western version of the show may face due to the current production issues in Japan, but it actually looks like a good series unit has been made locally and ready to go.
