It's been a great week for the Pokémon series. Pokémon Direct revealed Pokémon Sword and Shield there will be an elastic pass and 200 it's old monsters, and we got the real deal Pokémon Mystery Dungeon spin-off games will be charged for the switch.
If that wasn't exciting enough, the first trailer for the next Pokémon movie has been revealed during a Japanese television show Order a Smoker. It sees the return of Ash and Pikachu to a new adventure.
As you can see, the 30-second clip shows a bigger forest, a new Tarzan character from a tree vine, a cane, a baby in a temple (some fans thought it might be a drag), Ash and Pikachu get a screen moment.
The title of the film in Japan is Pokémon Coco and it will be fully updated in 2D, or the previous movie has embraced 3DCG art. It is departing from Japan on July 10, but it has not been stated when it will be released outside of the region yet. Below are some screenshots:
