There have been several previews of the recently announced Horizon LEGO Adventures game in development for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. However, most of the reviews are focused on the PlayStation 5 version I city decided to go with the Nintendo Switch version. They revealed that the Switch version of Horizon Lego Adventures was developed at the same time as the PlayStation versions and scaled down. Another thing they note is that the game can be played with a single Joy-Con, so Switch owners have co-op play right out of the box without the need for additional controllers.
“Beyond this holiday, the game has two-player co-op and is designed to be played with just one joystick, so multiplayer would be an option right out of release with players using a single Joy-Con.”
“It’s super exciting for us to make a game for Nintendo for the first time, right?” Symons told me. He said that both versions were made simultaneously, rather than making a PS5 game and scaling it down. “We’re actually doing it all at the same time, in parallel, so we have a dedicated team of engineers optimizing all of this for the Switch, but it’s going to be exactly the same.”
“And finally, does this new partnership mean that Aloy could end up coming to the next Super Smash Bros.? “That would be nice. If you’re talking to Nintendo and they want to invite us, let me know.”
