Animal Crossing: New Horizons has come out today March 20, 2020, and at this point it goes without saying that this new installment of the franchise has caught the attention of a new audience. And for them, or anyone who wants to learn how to keep track of things in the game, we bring you a guide on how to move trees and how to get the different types of wood.
Move trees
Those of you who have already arrived at your desert island will have found a tree that you would like to move; Well, don't worry, because you can remove it and plant it anywhere else.
If what you want is to move a tree that you have planted but it has not yet finished growing, you can remove it with the shovel and put it in another place. This will not destroy the tree as it happened in previous installments.
But if what you want to move is a tree that has already grown, you will first need to eat a fruit to gain strength, and then carry out the same process of shoveling the tree as if it had not grown. After this, you already have it in your inventory to replant it in another place.
How to get wood
To get wood, all you have to do is hit a tree up to three times with an ax to drop three stacks of wood (which can be of different types). The tree will not be cut down as much as you hit it, unless you have the ax with greater durability, if you want to eliminate it you will have to follow the process described in the paragraphs above.
If you want to get soft or hard wood, the two other types of variation from normal, you do not have to follow any specific process. Just hit trees and they will fall or not depending on how lucky you are.
We hope that this short guide has been useful for your adventure on the island, that you enjoy the game very much!
