As befits Princess Zelda herself, the Royal and Royal versions of the Switch Lite will appear alongside The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom this September. It will offer a glorious alternative to the standard Lite colors and other variants. Pre-orders aren’t open yet, but the I Nintendo Store UK page for it has an option for fans to provide their email and receive status updates.
Nintendo’s official press release is as follows:
“Additionally, a gold-colored Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition console adorned with the Hylian crest and inspired by the Legend of Zelda series will also arrive on September 26. Players can enjoy access to a range of classic The Legend of Zelda titles from NES, Super NES, Game Boy, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance with a 12-month individual membership to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack included.”
The latest Nintendo Direct showed no signs of slowing down for the Big Na, and the release of a new variation of the console alongside Zelda’s rise to fame is sure to make the Switch’s twilight hours among the noblest.
