As you well know, Zelda: Breath of the Wild it completely revolutionized the sega in ways that even the most ambitious fans could not imagine. Perhaps the expectations are somewhat more relaxed with its sequel, but we must not forget that Nintendo will also surely surprise the fans in some way.
While what has been seen in the trailers shown so far looks promising, there are still many unknowns and ways in which the sequel could live up to the first installment. From CBR we propose some ideas that would undoubtedly be a revolution in the saga.
They are the following:
- Connect the world of Hyrule that we saw in the first installment with all the worlds of the saga, including Termina and more
- Defeat Ganon for good and present a new kind of threat
- Add a new main character to join the recurring characters of Link, Zelda, Ganondorf and Impa
- Make Link lose in a battle and then have to seek redemption
- Giving a twist to the timeline of the franchise, with more reference to previous installments that allow connecting Zelda: Breath of the Wild with the games of the past
We would add something that has been requested a lot among the fans and that could really mean a revolution in the franchise: that Zelda was a playable character. Although the first trailer gave us hope, the latest details indicate that it will not be playable.
