According to a Japanese legend, its leader and founder, Tokimasa Hojomarched towards the island of Enoshima in search of a dragon that would ensure prosperity for his family. This being gave him three of her scales. As you can imagine, this present became the symbol of her family and, later, the Triforce that we know today.
