Illumination and Nintendo struck a lot of gold this year with the release of The Super Mario Bros. So it’s not surprising that there were a lot of fans interested in the future of Nintendo and Illumination’s plans. The parties involved have previously suggested making more movies, especially with other Nintendo IPs.
Well, it looks like that will definitely be the case. Illumination and Nintendo are reported to be close to finalizing a deal involving the production of a Legend of Zelda movie. There aren’t many details, but if the deal is close to being finalized, that could change soon.
