Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE He arrived on Wii U on June 24, 2016 and despite not being a bestselling title, he loved the majority of players who took him. Possibly for being a title that for many happened something unnoticed Nintendo has decided to give it a second chance and announced in the Nintendo Direct that it took place on September 5 of last year that it would launch a port for Nintendo Switch called Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore.
In the absence of a few days for this port to be launched (it will be released on January 17), in Nintenderos we have already been able to enjoy the game for dozens of hours and, without a doubt, It has left us a good taste.
We are facing a title that presents a very original story, where three great icons of the world of video games come together: Shin Megami Tensei
In this game we are faced with a very particular universe, where the Japanese music industry becomes the cornerstone of its plot. It tells us how in Tokyo, the Idols They have an inner power that an army of enemies wants to obtain. The protagonists Itsuki Aoi Y Tsubasa Oribe they are involved in the battle between good and evil; Good is born from the inside of the Idols and evil, from beyond. The combat space is the Idolspheres, dungeons located in another dimension in which the Idols fight with the help of Mirages, a kind of spirits represented by characters from the Fire Emblem saga that grant them their power in the form of a weapon.
As for the combat system, it is the classic of turn role
Apart from these aspects related to the gameplay and the game's plot, another very important aspect to highlight is game music. Keep in mind that the plot of Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE # Encore is related to the music industry of Japan, so we found a variety of lively Japanese pop themes, which are interspersed with songs and sound effects of Fire Emblem Musical performances either outside or in combat will be the order of the day throughout the adventure.
Unfortunately, this title continues to suffer from several problems already present in the original version: censorship and texts in English. Aspects that surely will not make much grace to fans of the genre or those who expected a change in this regard, but that those who enjoyed the original experience will surely know how to ignore.
Finally, it should be noted that this new version of the game contains a new unpublished song, new elements of the story, new outfits and more. We will discuss this in detail later.
