Impressions of the movie Super Mario Bros

Time crept up very quickly because the movie Super Mario Bros. from Nintendo and Illumination debuts on Wednesday, April 5. First impressions have surfaced on social media today and initial impressions are very positive with the film’s spectacular animation and magical Mushroom Kingdom receiving the approval of various influencers and gaming fans. While we have yet to see full reviews for The Super Mario Bros. Movie from the most important film critics, it seems that the first impressions are great. Here are some examples of impressions:

(Also, I shouldn’t have to say this, but just because it’s relevant… I’ve played and loved almost every Super Mario game, owned every Nintendo system, never bought a Sega out of loyalty, and had a Zelda room in my house. So yeah, big Nintendo hater.)
