DOOM games are no strangers to the Nintendo Switch. The classic DOOM games, DOOM 2016 and even DOOM Eternal are currently playable on Nintendo’s hybrid console. All that said, it’s been a while since a new DOOM game came out. DOOM Eternal was the most recent release, and that was 3 years ago.
Well, it looks like things are about to change. Insider Gaming reports that the new DOOM game will be revealed at Microsoft’s presentation, which is scheduled to take place on June 9. Its code name was “Year Zero”, but now it has the final name “DOOM: The Dark Ages”. As for the game itself, the only thing they learned is that the game is described as a “medieval doom world”.
