Just before the official release on May 30Inti Creates has brought us a free demo for the upcoming feline action platformer, Umbraclaw.
Now available at Change eShop, the Umbraclaw demo contains a decent amount of content. You’ll be able to access the game’s tutorial, play through the initial two stages (including boss battles), and explore the core world.
He revealed the news Inti creates a Twitter accountwho shared the following teaser art of the demo bosses — yes, that’s the flaming shark and pirate rabbit on the right.
Umbraclaw is all about reincarnating a cat (yes, really) and it looks like the demo will let you see this in action. Now you can get a taste of the progression system where the protagonist Kuon goes from a powerless dead cat to a being possessed by the abilities of other dead animals. We’ve added the latest trailer to the top of this article so you know we’re not making this up.
It’s a wild setup, but we’ll be interested to try it out – especially with Inti Creates (Mega Man Zero, Azure Striker Gunvolt and more) at the helm.
