As we have already informed you this morning, today is Miyamoto’s birthday, but he is not the only one who is on his anniversary.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! celebrates its second anniversary today. We remember that it was launched exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 16, 2018 worldwide.
We remind you of his premise and his trailer:
We welcome you to the world of Pokémon!
Travel through the Kanto region and experience a thousand adventures in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! Y Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! for Nintendo Switch. Start your adventure as a rookie Pokémon Trainer, and catch all kinds of Pokémon that you can fight with and even befriend!
Your partner Pokémon
In Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, your Pikachu partner will not leave your side, and will grow and learn as you progress through the game. Pikachu can learn Secret Techniques and use them outside of combat to reach certain locations, such as Tala, Surcraper, and Surcaaguas, as well as exclusive moves useful for fighting.
The more time you spend with your partner, the more affection he will have for you! You can pet him, feed him, tickle him, dress him in different outfits and accessories, and even change his hairstyle! Something good may happen as you grow closer.
Catch pokemon
You will meet a lot of Pokémon in the Kanto region! Get up close to one and you’ll have a chance to catch it. To do this, use the motion controls on the Joy-Con or use the accessory Poké Ball Plus (sold separately) to launch a Poké Ball.
Combat
Prepare well! When a Coach sees you, they will challenge you to a challenge! Battles are the ideal way to train and bond with your Pokémon.
On the other hand, in Pokémon Gyms, Pokémon Trainers put their combat skills to the test. If you defeat a Gym Leader, you will earn a Gym Badge.
Exchange
You can trade Pokémon with close friends or around the world to complete the Pokédex. Oddish, Sandshrew and Growlithe are only found in the wild in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, while Bellsprout, Vulpix and Meowth are only found in the wild in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
Team Rocket does their thing
During your adventures in the Kanto region, you may come across members of Team Rocket, a sinister organization. This group of evildoers sets out to steal other Pokémon and use them for evil purposes!
Alola Forms
Some Pokémon have come to Kanto from the Alola region. Due to the characteristic climate of this region, they look different from their Kanto namesakes!

Pass a Joy-Con controller to a friend to enjoy multiplayer! Two players can explore, battle, and catch Pokémon together. They can also travel with a Pokémon alongside!
