The inclusion of American actor Chris Pratt as the voice of the beloved Mario in Super Mario Bros. was a surprising decision for the film, and we won’t know if they pull it off successfully until everyone sees the film, which launches worldwide next month. However, Chris Pratt along with the excellent Jack Black (Bowser) Keegan-Michael Key (Toad) Charlie Day (Luigi) recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to have a little chat with the musician about their individual parts that give voice to the legendary characters in the beautifully animated film. Pratt mentioned to Clarkson that this was an opportunity to “face” Mario a little better, especially since his dialogue in the game, delivered by the brilliant Charles Martinet, is relatively short. You can watch them all in the fun video below, and the movie Super Mario Bros. starts on Wednesday, April 5.
