The latest edition of Famitsu has revealed which games Japanese fans are looking forward to the most. There’s no change at the top for Square Enix’s PlayStation 5 exclusive, Final Fantasy XVI, which seems to have held the No.1 spot for forever, however, this week has seen Xenoblade Chronicles 3 overtake Splatoon 3 and take the No.2 spot. Nine of the top ten games are on the Nintendo Switch platform, which just shows how dominant the system is in Japan. Here’s this week’s most wanted games between 12th May, 2022 and 18th May 18, 2022

  1. [PS5] Final Fantasy XVI – 504 votes
  2. [NSW] Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 419 votes
  3. [NSW] Splatoon 3 – 403 votes
  4. [NSW] Bayonetta 3 – 392 votes
