The latest Famitsu sales charts are in and they cover a two week period, 20th December, 2021 to 2nd January 2, 2022, and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Pokemon Shining Pearl could not be moved from the top spot in the boxed game charts. During the two-week sales period Nintendo shifted a massive 393,980 units of the Nintendo Switch family of systems, absolutely destroying the competition. However, it should be noted that both of the newer consoles from Sony and Microsoft are still suffering from global stock shortages, but it still remains clear that the Nintendo Switch is the winning platform in the land of the rising sun.
