Japan: Nintendo Switch family sells 97,706 units and Pokemon Legends back at No.1

The latest Japanese boxed video game software and hardware charts have come through via sales tracker Famitsu. The Nintendo Switch family of systems continue to pull in big sales with the systems selling almost 98K units for the period of 7th March, 2022 to 13th March, 2022. The biggest boxed software game this week was the incredibly popular Pokemon Legends: Arceus video game which switches up the Pokemon formula and has been well-received by fans. Last week’s No.1, Elden Ring, has slipped to No.2. Here’s the best-selling physical software and hardware this week in the land of the rising sun.

  6. [NSW] Chocobo GP (Square Enix, 03/10/22) – 12,414 (New)
  7. [NSW] .hack//G.U. Last Recode (Bandai Namco, 03/10/22) – 11,097 (New)
  8. [PS5] Gran Turismo 7 (SIE, 04/03/22) – 10,106 (83,505)
