The latest Japanese boxed video game and hardware charts have come through from sales tracker Famitsu for the week of 23rd May, 2022 to 29th May, 2022. There’s no surprises in either the software or the hardware charts this week with Nintendo continuing to run the show in the land of the rising sun. The Nintendo Switch family of systems were once again the best-selling hardware shifting an additional 60,877 units and Nintendo Switch Sports continues to dominate the top of the charts selling an extra 32,321 copies bringing total boxed sales in Japan to 419,522. It is followed by Kirby and the Forgotten Land at No.2 with the latest Kirby game shifting a total of 736,287 boxed-copies. Here’s the best-selling hardware and software:
