It’s that time of the week again when it’s time to find out how video game hardware and physical gaming software fared in Japan. Famitsu has decided to release the latest video game and boxed hardware rankings. This time, it’s for the week of July 22-28. As usual, both of these sales charts track lifetime sales.
This week, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe made it to the #3 spot and Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition made it to #4. However, that’s not the only thing Nintendo can boast about. Of the 10 games listed on the software sales chart, 9 of them are Switch games. Meanwhile, the OLED model of Nintendo’s hybrid console was #1 on the hardware sales chart.
