You see, Famitsu reported that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have surpassed 8,300,000 units sold in Japan. This makes Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet together now the best-selling Pokemon game ever in the region. Pokémon Red and Green were the previous holders of that record, meaning this is the first time in Pokemon history that the record has been broken.
