The latest Japan video-in-a-box software and hardware charts have been released for the week of June 26, 2023 through July 02, 2023. This week there is a brand new no. 1 in the form of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE (you can read our recent review here). Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE knocked the PlayStation 5 exclusive Final Fantasy XVI down to #2, which will be a disappointment for Square Enix. The #1 video game hardware was once again the Nintendo Switch family of systems, which sold an additional 106,214 units this week. This is the best selling hardware and software in the land of the rising sun.
