The classic 1997 visual novel ToHeart is being remade for Nintendo Switch and PC, according to a press release from Aquaplus.
It is scheduled for a spring 2025 release in Japan, and a physical version is in the works.
ToHeart, which has spawned several adaptations and sequels since its first release, pioneered the visual novel genre. With a slice of life story and ten romantic options to choose from, she sets the stage for what comes next.
The press release notes that the remake will feature 3D characters and voice work by Kane Ichinose (Ichigo from Darling in the Franxx, Suletta Mercury from Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Hisui from the Tsukihime remake), with an opening theme from Japanese singer YURiKA .
