- The reason they deserved their ranking is because of their incredible sales.
- The retailer claims that both games have surpassed Pokémon Sun and Moon, one of the best-selling Nintendo 3DS games in Japan.
- It seems that they refer to demand, rather than lifetime sales, but it still bodes well for Pokémon Sword and Shield. That is to say, Pokémon Sword and Shield sales are exceeding expectations.
- Tsutaya also states that there were 20-year-old male customers who bought the games at the launch, but thanks to the television commercials that are geared towards children, demand increased even more.
