Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has confirmed that the long-awaited Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster is real and in development. You may recall that Final Fantasy director Yoshi-P said back in April 2024 that “it’s time for another Final Fantasy Tactics game.” It’s not clear when Square Enix should announce the Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster, but we have the Tokyo Game Show in September, so maybe we can hear something about it there.
