Platinum Games, Hideki Kamiya, says that he has been thinking about the way the company conveyed the ending of the recently released Bayonetta 3 presumably due to the response he has had from fans on social media. He then went on to causally mention that because of this, some players will be surprised with Bayonetta 4 and the direction the story will ultimately take. This is the first time Platinum Games has talked about a Bayonetta 4 and we can presume that Nintendo will once again be funding the project as they have the last two entries in the series. Bayonetta 3 is available now at retail and on the Nintendo Switch eShop and you can read our review here.
