Gamescom 2024 has come and gone, and it looks like this year’s event was another success for journalist and regular host, Geoff Keighley. Keighley announced on social media platform X that Opening Night Live had double the video views of 2023 with more than 40 million views. Gamescom 2024 had 335,000 visitors this year from 120 countries, up from 320,000 in 2023. Keighley announced earlier this week that this year’s The Game Awards will take place on December 12.
