It launches later this week on the Nintendo switchch Lord Lucas, a cartoony platform inspired by the gameplay of 8 and 16-bit Classics.

It also features a "touch of adventure with Metroidylvania", a game featuring players who perform on a mission ordered by King Lucas and curious citizens of Susan's royal house. Originally, the castle was built in just a few rooms, but as it slowly developed it grew to include over a thousand.

Here is the official description and list of your feature:

After an incident that King Lucas had with the Sausan Witch, the Queen left him and remarried to a neighboring kingdom, and now only his daughters are left by him. Because of his love for them, each time they get lost in the palace, he shakes heaven and earth to bring them back and ends up wandering to the most straight knights to find them. Will you be one of these knights?

Play for the kindness of King Lucas and the love of three princesses. A random castle will be built and you should find it within a small area of it. You can move horizontally and vertically through the rooms until you reach your goal. Once you succeed, the castle becomes more and more difficult: a large area will be opened … and the experience will become even more difficult when the princess gets lost inside a completely unlocked castle with over 1,000 rooms.

Features:
– Earn money and buy upgrades for us compasses and crystal balls, many weapons such as magic sticks and swords, or heavy shields to protect giant spiders, armed rats, piranhas and many other items attacked by the castle.
– Talk to and interact with many NPCs who will play different funny and unexpected roles as you want (yes, there's some subtle story under the arcade!).
– Enjoy classic mechanics with an updated image feature that will delight 80s and 90s game lovers.

King Lucas will be launched on the switch on the 21st of February and will be available for $ 4.99.
