The pink puff Kirby is still there species is celebrating its 30th birthday and to top off the celebrations it looks like there will be a special panel at the Game Developers Conference 2023 this March.
According to the official website, this panel will be a “design session” featuring developers Shinya Kumazaki and Tatsuya Kamiyama. It will focus on Kirby and the Forgotten Land and how he made the leap into the 3D world, along with the new features he adds to the long-running series. This also coincides with the game’s first anniversary.
“The many dimensions of Kirby show Shinya Kumazaki and Tatsuya Kamiyama talking Kirby and the Forgotten Land a year after its release — seeing how they brought the traditional Kirby gameplay into a 3D world, as well as testing out some new features in the game, including the fan-favorite Mouthful Mode.”
The Game Developers Conference will be held in San Francisco between March 20 and 24 this year. Other games featured at the annual event include titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
If there’s any interesting news from the Kirby panel that includes Kamuazaki and Kamiyama, we’ll be sure to let you know. Have you tried the pink puffin 3D trip yet? Looking forward to Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe? Leave a comment below.
