It seems that a new update is already available in this game of Nintendo Switch. This is a patch that the developers have officially released on the console recently for Knockout City.
Specific, this version 1.4 The game includes several fixes and tweaks that aim to improve the user experience on the hybrid console, as well as add a couple of features. You can check the list of news just below:
Bug fixes:
- Crew Bounties that have been previously completed will now count as progress towards the “Season Reward” Crew Bounty. Your progress should update in this contract the next time you start the game. Let us know if you continue to have problems!
- The game loading logic has been improved to address an issue that prevented some players from entering the game until after the intro cinematic.
- Fixed a bug that kept full charge after feinting with the precise ball fully loaded by switching from one opponent to another.
- Fixed a rare bug where a player’s street rank would show as level 1 upon completion of the game.
- Fixed an issue that could cause players to snag on walls in Central Glorieta.
- It is now possible to redeem codes in the game again.
- We have fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the Nintendo eShop from responding when attempting to purchase hologreens from the in-game store.
- The progress of the “Special Explosion” squad contract is now correctly recorded when adding KO with the bomb ball or cage.
- We have fixed the location of the Deluxe Edition in the Epic Store.
- The cage ball will no longer briefly latch onto the player’s feet when exiting it.
Functions:
- Heroes Bonus: From now on, if you join a match in progress, you will receive an extra 100 Heroic XP for completing the match. Remember that if you join a game that has already started and lose, the loss will NOT count in League Play or in contracts with winning streaks. But if you win, victory WILL count towards League Play or streaks. If you’re going to get the Heroes bonus on top of that, what excuse can you have for not helping your new team take the street game with you?
- We have continued to make improvements to find the best region with data centers for matchmaking. Now the game sends more information related to connections to multiple regions. That way, our servers have better options to find the optimal region. In addition, we have increased the number of customizable parameters on the servers. So we can make improvements in less time based on the experiences of the players.
- We’ve updated the Quit Match pop-up to make it clear that if you quit, you will lose the rewards for that match and suffer the corresponding penalty.
What do you think? Have you already updated it? Do not hesitate to share in the comments if you have found any news other than those mentioned in the list.
