Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, an exciting action-adventure game, is set to make its debut on multiple platforms this summer. Publisher and developer Chibig, in collaboration with Talpa Games and Undercoders, announced that the game will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on July 27. Physical editions will also be available in Europe and Asia through distributors Tesura Games and Piiki between August and September, with pre-orders already open. In Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, players will join the brave Koa and her loyal friend Napop on an exciting journey across the stunning islands of Mara. Goal? Recover stolen pirate loot by outwitting traps, navigating dangerous environments, and exploring the diverse and visually stunning landscapes that await.
As players progress, they’ll unlock new parts of the archipelago, discovering sandy beaches, bubbling volcanoes, and countless other charming and colorful locations, each packed with secrets and collectibles. With eight different worlds to discover, players will encounter unique themes, challenging traps, and compelling story elements within each level. Sailing through the vast ocean of Mara will be an integral part of the adventure. Players will have the opportunity to upgrade their ship, ensuring they can reach every corner of the archipelago. Obtaining pirate maps will open up new routes, allowing access to unexplored areas and confronting the infamous Five Pirates of the Sea of Mara.
Accompanying Koa on her quest is her trusty friend Napopo, who is in her backpack. Napopo grants special abilities and moves around Koi, including bomb jump, jet jump, somersault, ultra speed and dive, which will prove to be crucial in overcoming the challenges and obstacles along the way.

By helping these characters, players will uncover hidden secrets, face intriguing challenges, and discover various collectibles scattered throughout the archipelago.
