It’s been almost a year since Konami released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the release of the volume did not go well. There were more bugs, graphical issues and more. The issues have since been resolved and the games are now in much better shape, but Konami isn’t happy that the issues occurred in the first place.
You see, development on the next part of the collection is now underway, and Metal Gear series promotion director Jiro Oishi and producer Noriaki Okamura mentioned it in a new Production Hotline video that was released recently. They told fans eager to learn more about the Volume 2 games that not only will porting the newer games come with its own set of problems, but Okamura even said that “we also worry about how Vol. I had a pretty tough start, with all the problems, so we’ll do everything we can to make sure it doesn’t happen again, but we just have to ask everyone to give us time.”
