It seems that developers of The Witcher 3 Layoffs have been confirmed. Here we bring you all the details offered by this studio, CD Projekt Red.
As far as we have been able to learn, they have announced a total of 30 layoffs after finishing development on the next Witcher card game. This is confirmed by IGN:
- CD Projekt Red plans to lay off approximately 30 more employees by the end of 2023.
- The decision comes as development on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game wraps up.
- The announcement was made in a blog post on the Gwent website.
- CD Projekt Red had previously indicated that would keep a small number of employees for game maintenancebut now it is confirmed that around 30 members of the Gwent team will be separated from the studio.
- Four team members will be laid off in June, with the number gradually increasing to approximately 30 layoffs in total. throughout the year 2023.
